  1. People start off in life with little steps. Charles Wesley Mumbere started of as a Nurse’s aide in some US states. Charles Wesley Mumbere fought and he did not give up, and then his country realized he should take upon the responsibility to be king. Back when American and Britain was at war with Britain, America fought to be separated and to not have the same rules as Britain. After time went by, America gained their independence. The similarities between the article and America Revolution were that they both fought to gain their own responsibility and after they fought for a while, they got it. Now everything else is perfectly fine and settled.

  3. Live is not always easy in the beginning but it get better in the ending. Mumbere was a Nurse at a nursing home in the U.S. When America And Britain was at WAR America did it to be isolated from the other countries and be independent again. They are the same because they both did what they had to do to gain independence back. And that is how they are very similar.

  4. In the Revolutionary War the Americans fought to get out of British rule. In the article Charles Wesley Mumbere fought to get the kingdom of his land back. He moved to the US and worked as a nurse’s aide and when his father died he inherited the entire kingdom but unfortunately a president ruled when he was able to take throne for the country. He eventually took the throne but he couldn’t make the decisions a king would make but he could make some decisions that could affect his people.

  5. This article was about a man named Charles Wesley Mumbere he was a nurse’s aide in the US but in his country back in Uganda he was crowned the king. The connection between this article and the American Revolution it simply about kings and queens. The people of the American Revolution didn’t want Britain to rule them so they had a war. In Uganda they wanted Charles Wesley Mumbere to be the king because they believe that he can make a difference in their community.

  10. After reading today’s article and looking back on what we have learned in humanities class I could make a really interesting connection. The connection that I can make is about kings. The reason why I could make a connection on kings is because in the article it talked about a king and in humanities class when we was learning about war(s) great Britain was ruled by a king.

  12. In the Revolutionary War Britain people and Americans argued about rules and laws. Back then their used to be kings and queens that made the law. Just like in the article they had kings and queens that ruled everything. However they did not fight over it the president just abolished all kings and made presidents. That’ also what happened in the war too.

  13. In the American Revolution they americans fought for independence to seprate them from the british rules. In Uganda Mumbere fought to get his land back. I think both of the fights were reasonalbe. I think that both of the fights were foughten for what they believe in. They both got what they wanted in the end.
