  5. Yes I have been able to create rules. I think the rules I created are good. I think that the kids will fallow the rules and hopefully they will because except for one of them, all of them are good. I think that all of them is fair but the one I don't like is "All boys must wear there pants as high as possible". That one is stupid because boys should be able to wear there pant however they want, you don't see boys telling girls how to wear there clothes!

  7. 1) Have you ever been able to create the rules for your class?
Yes, the 6th grade Ms. Coleman’s class.
    2) Do you believe students will follow the rules that they create?
Yes because if they make the rules it’s obvious that those are the rules that they would like to go by.
    3) Which rule do you believe will be the hardest to follow?
the rule that I think would be hardest for most people to follow is either give respect to get respect or it is either no put downs.

  8. Yes I have been able to create rules for the class. UMM yes I believe the students will follow the rules that we create because if they make up the rules then they will have to follow them. The rule that will be the hardest too follow is to use no slang cause everyone in the class uses slang.

  11. No, I have never been able to create rules for my class.I do believe most students will be able to follow the rules they create. The rule I believe will be the hardest to follow is keeping your hands to yourself, because people fool around by touching others.

  14. In all of the years that I have been in school I have not once been able to create rules that the class should have until now. I think some students will follow the rules that they created. But there are some students that still do not follow their own rules. They basically follow the ones they want to. I don’t think any rules are hard for me I just tolerate anything I get. I personally follow all rules that are given to me.

  16. No I have never been able to create the rules for my class. But I thought that it was cool that you let us do that. No I don’t thing students will follow the rules that they have created because most of them want to act really immature, and they think that breaking the rules is cool. Maybe about 90% of the class will fallow this rules but most of them wont. The hardest rule that I believe will be harder to fallow is the one that you can’t use slang words or even eating candy in class. For me eating candy in class is not a problem, but the slang words yes.

  19. Yes I have been able to make rules for my class. No I do not believe that students will follow rules that we created because some of them just wanted to make the rule and not follow it just because it who they are. They will fell like they are better than other people. One rule that I believe will be had to follow is the “ALL BOYS MUST WEAR THEIR PANTS AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE.” I fell like boys think that girls want to see their ass or want to be “cool” or also “want to show that they are bad” do they pull their pans down I really think its stupid but whatever. Put I think the bots will just no do it cause its who they are.

  20. I have been able to create rules for my class when I was in about fourth grade. But when I was in fourth grade it was different than it is now in eighth grade. The reason they are different is because more electronics have been created. Teens now want to talk slang and get away with it in class and back in 4th grade kids wanted to play with toys and not get in trouble with it. That is a big difference from then and now. If the 8th grade students now created their own rules for the class, they should be responsible enough too listen to their own rules. But since I helped create a few rules and I know I would listen to them and follow them, even if they weren’t rules as of now I would still follow them. But the 8th graders now are learning and becoming more mature little by little, so they hopefully will be following their own rules. I honestly think the rule that is hardest too follow is not having a book bag. The reason I think that is the hardest rule, is because ever since I was younger I would always wear my book bag and I would always carry it with me and now that we are not allowed to carry it, I feel very empty and weak with out it. Since I am use too carrying my book bag. But if that is the academy 2 rule then I will follow until they change their minds about wearing book bags.

  21. 1) Yes I have created rules because in 2nd grade we was writing the whole school rules book.
    2) I think for my self no because people sometimes make it for fun.
    3) I don't really know who's the hardest to follow because all of them is weak

1)Have you ever been able to create the rules for your class?
    2) Do you believe students will follow the rules that they create?
    3) Which rule do you believe will be the hardest to follow?

In 6th grade we did the same thing we did in the classroom today. We made our own rules and had to vote on 3 we wanted. I believe that students will follow the rule because they are the ones they made the rules. Mostly if they want to be successful this year they would have to follow the rule even though they don’t like it. The hardest rule for me to follow would have to be to participate in class because I am a really shy person. I don’t like sharing out my work with the class when I have to speak.

Yes, when I was able to create rules in my class before. I like a lot of the rules that I saw on the poster.. I believe that students will be able to follow the rules because if they did not like the rules, then what was the point to vote for those specific rules. I believe the rule that will be the hardest to follow would be to not chew gum in class because every other day, we would get really stressed out.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I agree with marlin because the whole idea of how you are so used to using slang it could be hard or people would just not follow that rule

  30. Yes have been able to create my own rules for the class. Well, yes because if they choose their own rules they would actually follow them because the students know the rules and they will follow them because they remember them. The rule that would probably be hardest to follow is “One person talks at a time”. This rule would be the hardest to follow because when people know the answer to a question they just want to yell it out and sometimes they do.

  31. I agree Melissa on number 3 because I don't like to share out my work too.

  33. Yes, I have been able to create my own rules when I was in elementary school. Umm… Yes. I think that the student will follow the rules that they make up the reason I say this is because how is someone going to make you rules and not follow them, but then again I think that some students won’t follow the rules that they make and that is because some people in 8th grade are immature and the don’t follow rules at all. The rule that will be the hardest to follow is using no slang, the reason I said that this rule is going to be hard for me is because I use slang all the time in and out of school, and I believe it will also be harder for some of my other classmates.

No I have never been able to create rules for my class before so this is something new to me but I know how to do it. Yes I do believe students will follow the rules because mostly everybody in my class agree on the same thing and have to same thought on what the rules should be. I do not believe that any of the rules will be hard to follow because the class really has rules that we think should happen and the rules are about things that we don’t like that we think should change. The only rule that I think will be hard to follow is that we have snack every Thursday because we can’t really have snack in the classroom and Mrs. White might say no. Also how will we get snack and who will bring it in.

  35. Yes, I have been able to create rules for my class. No, I did not believe that the students would follow the rules that they created. The rule that I think will be the hardest to follow is no slang. The reason why I think that rule is the hardest to follow is because I use slang every day. I believe that if I didn’t use slang so much that that rule will be very easy to follow. That’s why I think that rule will be very hard to follow.

No, I haven’t been able to create rules for my class. I have been able to help vote to create the rules for my class. We should follow these rules we made because we made them. If we didn’t want to follow it, then we should of never thought of it. If we don’t follow the rules that we created, then we should just never be asked to create something that we never are going to live by. The rule “ if one person gets in trouble, then they just fall by themselves” is a good rule. I think we should use this because in the past years, we had to tolerate the unfairness of falling altogether as a community. The actions of an individual counted as the whole entire grade level in academy two. I feel as though this rule will give us a tad bit of justice.

  37. 1) Have you ever been able to create the rules for your class?
No, I have not been able to make classroom rules because people don't always agree with me, so I don't but this time I have a little more confidence.

    2) Do you believe students will follow the rules that they create?
I ave a feeling that 90% of the class will follow the rules because why follow classroom rules when you can't follow school rules.

    3) Which rule do you believe will be the hardest to follow?
    None

  38. We have been able to create rules for our own class
and I do believe that we can follow the rules that we created for our selves. The only rule that I wont be able follow easily would be to do ten push-ups just to stay in a group.

  40. Yes, we have been able to make our rules for our class before. In sixth grade we made it for humanities. In seventh grade we made it for math and humanities. Now, in eighth grade we made some for literacy. I think they will follow the rules because they made these rules. So they have to follow it. I think the hardest rule to follow is the one “when one person gets in trouble the rest of the class doesn’t”. What would happen if one person gets in trouble for another person’s prank? So then they can’t do any thing because that person only gets in trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I have made rules in class for the classroom in the 6th grade with my teacher Mrs. Coleman. The class made up rules and we all had to pick the rule that was best and will help us become less distracted and more focus. It depends on what kind of rules the students make if there mature and reasonable rule they’ re less likely to follow them if there basically part all the time don’t ask permission they’re more likely to follow them. I feel like other people shouldn’t get in trouble for what other people do because no one makes anyone act the way they act they choose to act that way so why should we get in trouble for it. We are all are own people and we have are own mines and feel we should be treated different and punished differently.

Yes I have been able to create my own rule but it was back in like 5th grade. Honestly I do think students will follow the rules specially because we created it. But at the same time I think not everyone is going to follow it. Not everyone in the class is mature, and I know that there going to try to act up. That’s why I agreed to the rule “Don’t blame everyone for what some one else did”. I shouldn’t be punished if I was doing the right thing and some one decided act up and we all get bale for it. The rule I find will be the hardest to follow will have to be “Don’t blame everyone for what some one else did”. Not for the student but its going to be hard for the teachers because they have this thing going on about the community.

2)I think the kids who are serious about what they have done and created would most likely follow their own rules that they have made.
3)I think the rule about having appropriate language will be the hardest because when I get mad I get mad and when I don’t feel like talking and doing stuff I talk straight up with slang.. I’m not use to talking appropriately I English and in Spanish but when it comes to it I always do has I’m told!

  48. I have created rules for a class before and it was better for the students because we won't break any of our own rules because they’re our rules. I think we will follow the rules that we create because we created them and why will we break our own rules. I think choosing your own seats will be a hard rule to follow because if we get to choose our seats we will only sit with our friends and then we wont get all of our work done because we will be talking to our friend and being foolish.

    4. Don’t talk when the teacher is talking

Once in the third grade they let each of us make 1 rule for the classroom but we never were able to do them, I guess the teachers just wanted to make us feel good about ourselves.I had a rule saying…well I really don’t remember because it was so long ago. I do remember the teacher telling us we were going to accomplish each rule before the school year ended, but we never did. I did not believe some of the rules some people wrote because half of those people didn’t even follow them before anyways so I just thought it was a bunch of non sense written on a perfectly good piece of paper. I didn’t share out on some peoples rules because I thought they weren’t something the would follow throughout the year. There weren’t really any rules that will be Hard to follow, because I think they weren’t quite hard to follow if you were mature enough then people should be fine.
