ReplyDeleteI have always thought about going to high school since the 5th grade. High school is a preparation for the buisness world. For example, if you graduate from high school without getting kept back, your future will likely be a succes. But if you got kept back or drop out, it will effect your life such as your job.

I would like to go to a high school that has a good education plan and sports and recreation. Mostly a Large school, Pilot and private.

I will get good grades and hopefuly I can get a scholarship for restling in a Pilot or Private school.

1) I haven't thought about high school until this day. I haven't thought of high school yet because I like being one of the leaders in my academy in the school. So when I go to high school its going to feel like I'm in 6th grade again. Mainly I don't want to be a freshman.
2) I want to attend a small school or private school. I want to attend one of those high schools because it has less drama and more work. I also want to attend a small or private school because of the colleges they have to offer there. I feel the smaller the school the more advantages it has.
3) I need to focus on my grades this year. I feel that grades are what puts you in the school of your choice. I also need to be more responsible considering we don't have book bags. I need to bring in my homework and make sure I'm prepared for class that's being responsible.
Yes, I have thought about going to high school. That’s my top priority this year; I can’t wait to graduate. I want to go to high school because high school is a long-term goal that I can’t wait to complete. High school is something that I really want to succeed in and I am going to succeed in.
ReplyDeleteWhen I think about high school, some schools I might want to attend might be an exam school or a METCO school. I want to go to those schools because it’s away from the Boston drama. I will meet new friends and succeed better knowing what to expect. I will only settle for a public school if any of choices don’t come true (highly doubted).
In order for me to attend the high school of my choice, I have to keep up the good work. I have to stay focus and make sure all the expectations for that school is met. I have to make sure nothing gets in my way of going to a high school of my choice and not just getting into a high school that I don’t want to attend.

Yes I have thought about going to high school because I don’t want a half education, I want a whole education. I have also thought about going to high school because now that I am in junior high or middle school I realize that high school can be fun for learning about the things that you want to do for your career in college. Another reason I have thought about going to high school is because I want to make my mom and dad proud of me because if I don’t go to high school that would disappoint them and I also want to go to high school because I want to be a singer for my career and f I don’t go to high school then I can’t go to college for music and vocals.
The type of high school I would like to attend is a pilot school. My top and only choice would be Boston Arts Academy because I have a talent of singing and I want to study vocals. I also want to go to Boston Arts Academy because I want to go to Berkley College of Music and when I visited Berkley their top choice on accepting people to their college and getting a free scholarship was Boston Arts Academy.
To make sure that I am able to attend the high school of my choice this year is I need to try my best at the auditions in January for BAA and I have to do all of my work and try my best to get in.

1) Yes, I have thought about going to high school. Because I know if I go to high school I can get my diploma and then I can go on to college to get a better education so I can support myself. Also I know my mom is not going to be here forever so I wont always have a place to go when I need help. With the education I get and how good I am I can get into a very good college so I have to work very hard for high school and focus on schoolwork.

I have though about going to high school to play sports like boxing, baseball, and wrestling. The type of high school I would like to attend is a large high school because I want to play sports and that my cousin is in that schools his popular. I also think that high school is going to be really hard for me because the teachers are not going to get me, like the teachers here at the Lila G. Fredrick Pilot does.
ReplyDeleteThe type of school that I will like to go to is a public school or a large school. The reason I say a public schools and a large school is because I can wear what ever I want and don’t have to worry about buying uniforms for school. The reason why I said no to exam schools is because I don’t like I am that smart to get there and make it though hard homework.
What I think that I need this year to pass 8th grade is to get good grades, get recommendations from teachers, make sure I pay attention in class, that I can do my panel review and pass. I don’t know what high school that I want to attend yet because there are so many schools to pick from it’s really hard.

ReplyDeleteThinking about it now the high school I would like to attend is Boston Latin Academy, Boston Arts Academy or New Mission. The reason why is because I heard all these schools are really good schools and I want to get a really good education. I believe that a good education could open lots of doors for me in life.
The things I need this year to make sure that I am able to attend the high school of my choice I need support, determination, people that know what they are doing and advice. Maybe recommendation letters depending on the school that I have my mind set on.

Iv was looking for high schools to go to so I wouldn’t have to look when the time comes. I like high school even know I haven’t been in it but I have an older brother and he tells me all about it so that’s why I know im ready.

I need to stay focus get to school on time do all of my assignments stay on task and study. Because when I do all of that then that means that I have build skills and stepped up a notch. Having a good education to get in good schools that u choose. Every grade that u get as you get promoted form grade to grade it follows you has u get to high school up from then.
Yes, I had thought about going to high school because if I don't go to high school I wouldn't get a job at all. If I don't go to high school I wouldn't be able to get a high paying job and would only have a 8th grade education.If I do go to high school and pass I could get a high paying job and have a better education.

I would like to attend a small school because then I will be in a small class and I will focus more and if I need help with something the teacher will come right to me and won't have to focus on the whole class.I also want to go to a small school because I will learn more and have a good education.
One thing I need to do this year is get good grades to pass the school year. The grades I want to get is A's-B-. I want to get those grades because there are good grades and I know with those grades I can get in a good school. One other thing I need to do to get into the high school of my choice is getting recommendation letters because if I get recommendation letters teachers will say that his teacher wants him in this school.

Another reason why I want to go to an exam school is because you have to take a test and score proficient or advanced. The last reason why I would like to go to an exam school is because you will be surrounded by a group of students that are on the same level just like you.
This year I need to stay focused in order to attend the high school of my choice. One reason why I need to stay focused this year is because students around me easily distract me. ReplyDelete2. I been thinking about the type of high schools that I want to go to and the type I want to go to be a small, large or Exam school. I choose these three because I feel I could do go in one of these choose. I would like to go to a large high school because I feel like I can do a good job with lot of kids and there’s a lot if activities I would be able to do, but I feel that I if I was to go to a small school I can get the attention I need to go on. I feel that in a smaller school I can get my work done quicker and I can move on. If I was able to go to an exam school I feel that I would do good, and it would look good on a college application that I was able to go to a exam school.
3. In order for me to go to the high school of my choice I need to make sure I keep the A’s and B’s all 4 quarters. I need to stay on track and make sure I turn in all my homework on time and study for quiz, but the most important thing I think I need to work on is not doing my work at the last minutes. Basically all together I just need to work hard, try my best and not giving up, and if you I need help ask for it and try not to get in trouble.

I would also like to go to a high school that had acting classes because I would love to be an actor when I get older. So therefore that would be a large school I would like to go to.
What I would have to do in order to go to the high school of my choice is stay focused and get my work done in all my classes get good grades and I will need to get my act tighter in some of my classes. Also I will need to stay focus’s to the books and to all my work and keep my head in the game.

ReplyDeleteYes, I have been thinking about going to high school. I always have been thinking about the Boston Arts Academy. They can help me with my musical talent. Make me learn how to play my piano more. Then I can perform in music videos. Not with just the piano, but with other instruments. One might be the electric guitar. This is my reason.

I would like to go to a pilot type. The B.A.A. is the school I want and will go to. It is also part of Fenway Park. I will have fun there. This is my reason.

I would want to go to a pilot school. I want to go there because it can keep me out of trouble and can make me achieve and be successful in life.

ReplyDeleteThe type of high school I would like to attend is a small school because someone told me that if the school is smalll, its better. You learn better in a smaller environment.This is because there are less student and maybe lesss teachers. If there's less students then you'll probably get more help with your work if you need it. Attending a small school might also be easier when it comes to getting around because it would be easier to get to my classes.

I am sick and tired of wearing uniform, I have been wearing uniform since elementary and middle and I don’t want to wear it in high school. I hope I pass the exam school test, because I have a feeling the test is going to be too hard for me to pass it.

Yes I have thought about going to high school because I think it is the right time to. I have to make sure I know what school I am going to before the school year ends. I also have to make sure I am ready to get interviewed or do an audition for any school that approaches me. Also the eighth grade team is trying to get us ready for high school so I have no choice but to think about high school. I have to make sure that I have the right grades and good quality this year so I can be able to have a good review on my applications. I am ready to get through the eighth grade and get good grades and ready to get to high school. So I would say I am thinking of going to high school.
2) Thinking about it now, what type of high school would you like to attend? (Small, Large, Exam, Pilot, Private, etc...) Explain why.
I would like to go to a small school for talent, because if you are in high school you would want more friends to study with and have fun with. I also think I would like to go to a small school because it will be better for me to adjust. If a school that I really like comes to me I will take the opportunity. I would like to go to B.A.A I do not know if it is an exam school because it takes auditions. I would love to go to B.A.A because it is such a great opportunity to conquer my dream of becoming a singer or a dancer. But I also wanted to become a lawyer, so I do not know if I would go to B.A.A.

I think I would have to practice my skills in order to go to B.A.A. I also have been practicing at home of what I might do at the audition. I am picking through songs to audition to. I would really like to get into that school because I think it will help]p me a lot. If I want to become a lawyer will have to pay attention more in class. I will have to start reading more because I have to be word smart if I would like to be a lawyer. I would really like the fact of going to a school that mainly focuses on reading, but to be a lawyer you will have to know math also.
Yes, I did enjoy the play Fences. The actors were very believable and in some scenes I found it funny and amusing. The actors were great and I really liked how the actors pronounced their voice so that everyone in the audience could hear them, and it was smart how the 2 men on the side was doing sign language for the people that were at the play who were deaf.
ReplyDeleteThe main idea of the play was commitment and leadership. Towards the middle of the play Troy opened up to his wife and told him that he had another son therefore their relationship lacked commitment. For leadership the farther (Troy) felt like he was the boss of the house but I think he went a little bit to far.
My favorite character was Rose because she stuck by her word, and played a good and strong but nurturing role and I would have done the same exact things that she would’ve done in that situation
